Privacy policy
This policy explains what we collect when you book or enquire about 1350 Sandpiper, and what we do with it. We are a single-property owner-operated rental, not an advertising business.
What we collect
Booking details — your name, email address, stay dates, number of guests, and any options you select such as heated pool nights.
Payment details — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we retain the payment amount, status, and Stripe reference so we can reconcile and refund your booking.
Messages — anything you send us by email about your stay.
How we use it
To take and confirm your booking, send your confirmation and arrival information, process payments and refunds, meet Texas hotel occupancy tax record-keeping requirements, and answer your questions. That is all.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the booking: Stripe for payments, our email delivery provider for confirmations, and our hosting and database provider. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Emails
We send emails about your booking — confirmations, arrival details, and payment notices. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also manage your email preferences directly. Unsubscribing does not stop messages required to complete a booking you have already made.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted. Enquiries that don’t become bookings are deleted once the conversation is finished.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Reply to any email from us and we’ll handle it.
Cookies
The site uses only the storage needed to keep the pages working — for example remembering your booking selections and, for the owner, keeping an admin session. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Security
Guest records are held in an access-controlled database, admin areas are password protected, and payment card data stays with Stripe. No system is perfect, so please tell us immediately if you think something is wrong with your booking or account.
